No you cannot. We have a zero tolerance policy for all Pet Sitters and Pet Owners who choose to take a booking offline. Unfortunately we will have no choice but to deactivate both accounts, depending on the circumstances.
At Mad Paws, we don't allow cash payments to be made or received. All payments must be made through the our platform. Sitters must ensure that the Owner has paid for the booking before they start looking after an Pet. You will receive a notification that the Owner has paid and the Status will change to Paid.
Bookings paid for on the Mad Paws platform, allows all parties access to:
- Our Customer Service team - Monday- Saturday 9-5pm via Chat, Phone or email
- Our Accident Cover Insurance
- Payment gateway allowing Owners to pay and Sitters to receive funds
If we see that you are taking jobs offline books or discussing receiving a cash payment, we will suspend your account. We really hope you understand and acknowledge the fact that a portion of our fees are actually used to protect both you and the Pet Owners during your bookings.
